Position : Gaming PC – Hardware Tester
Job Description : Ironside specializes in the manufacturing of custom gaming desktops and laptops. We are looking for quick learning individuals with a passion for computers, gaming, and technology. Prior experience working with computers is appreciated, however, we do offer training from the ground up.Responsibilities: Stress testing multiple systems for quality assurance – This entails using stress testing software such as Prime95 and Unigine Superposition to validate the stability and performance of various components.Troubleshooting PCs and laptops – This entails troubleshooting hardware and software. Some examples include; Finding missing drivers for particular hardware and installing them, installing RGB software for various components (Corsair iCUE, ASUS Armoury Crate, MSI Center, and more), understanding POST code LEDs from motherboards to diagnose hardware failures, physically testing computer hardware (RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.).Keeping up with current generation hardware such as Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics cardsKeeping your department clean and organizedRequirements: Quick learner – Learn numerous products and servicesPositive attitude and cooperative personalityBeing on time each day you are scheduled to workAsk questionsHave fun!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $14.50 per hourBenefits:Employee discountSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeCOVID-19 considerations:Masks are optionalWork Location: One location
