Position : Human Resources Assistant
Job Description : This position supports Picture Show in human resources and assists in payroll for the entire organization. This position is responsible for administration of the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding of employees. In addition, this position assists with benefit administration, workers compensation and unemployment claims.Essential FunctionsAssist corporate and theatres with job postingsProvide customer service to employees by answering basic human resources and payroll questions. Escalate questions when needed.Administer on-boarding/new hire and termination process with offsite theater managers and corporate employees.Assist operations with maintaining current training certifications.Facilitate insurance enrollments and terminations and ensure accuracy of associated payroll deductions and insurance bills.Assist accounting with 401k and ACA reportingResearch payroll, wage and hour, break, paid leave and tax laws as directedAssist with entry of multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly basis for approximately 200 employeesPrepare bi-weekly 401K contributions and 401K loan repaymentsQualificationsAssociate degree in Human Resources or related field required (Bachelors preferred)A minimum of 6 months experience in human resources or related discipline requiredA minimum of 6 months experience in payroll or related discipline requiredSolid working knowledge of paperless environments and computer software applications including Adobe, Dropbox, Excel and Word.Experience with an online payroll system (Paycom experience is preferred)High degree of professionalism including ability to maintain confidentiality.
