Job Description : Responsibilities include: The IT HelpDesk Technician is part of a skilled team that together deliver best-in-class client service while deploying sound IT solutions. The successful candidates will use their skills and talents to satisfy clients’ technology needs. You must be adept at solving technology-specific issues remotely. Primary mode of communication is via phone and email. This position is also responsible for diligent and accurate utilization of CRM software.Qualifications: The successful candidates will possess and be able to demonstrate the following technical knowledge – Server Virtualization (VMWare & HyperV), Firewall Configuration, Microsoft Servers & Active Directory Administration, Microsoft Exchange (current & previous versions), Routing and switching, VoIP System Administration, Wireless Switches Administration, SAN’s Administration. The chosen individuals will have a strong work ethic demonstrated through previous work and/or academic performance. Organizational and time-management skills as well as a logical approach to problem solving is a must have. With a knack to relate and communicate with clients and GBS team members, you will share a strong spirit of personal responsibility demonstrated through punctual attendance, and the ability to foster a positive, team-building atmosphere.
