Job Description : *ST.CLAIR K I T C H E N Sjunior DesignerSt.Clair Kitchens is a boutique kitchen design firm and cabinet distributor in Alexandria VA. We pride ourselves on having one of the premier design teams in the industry and focus primarily on custom kitchen design. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a passion for design to join our team as a Junior Designer.Junior Designer Responsibilities:Assist lead designer with all facets of design and proposal processMeet with customers and conduct design consultationsNew business development – actively seek and build relationships with contractors and buildersCreating project proposals and packages.Creating detailed kitchen and bath designs using 20/20 design program.Making site visits prior to design and during installationMeeting with clients in-office and on-site as neededHelping clients with cabinetry selectionsAble to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.Other Responsibilities:Assist with social media posts and online marketingCoordinate and manage logisticsMaintain highest levels of professionalism answering the phone and interacting with clientsQualifications:ideal candidate would have at least two years of residential design experience and/or a degree in residential designCandidate should have experience using Residential Design software, preferably 20/20 DesignAbility to read building plans and scale drawingsStrong work ethic, organizational skills and pay close attention to detailAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time to meet deadlinesProficient with 20/20 Design, word, excel, outlook – photo & video editing a plusPersonable with strong customer service and time management skillsCandidates must submit a cover letter, salary range and a PDF of your resume.
