Job Description : Miriam restaurant group is seeking an experienced multi-tasking office Assistant with excellent communication skills and upbeat attitude for its Park Slope office handling 5 restaurants in New York City. The Administration/office Assistant will report to the Office Manager.Duties and Responsibilities: File scanned invoices to appropriate file folder most recent in frontPrepare reports and communications as need be by managementPerform menu updates and printing and arrange into corresponding menu cover.Types, format, proofreads and edits requested documentsPlaces orders for Management as needed or requestedCommunicates with and takes additional direction from department heads as neededAnswer telephones, directs calls, checks voicemail, takes messages, and runs errands, books reservations, calls to confirm evening reservations.Prepare meeting agenda, attends meetings and records/transcribes minutesTravel to all locations and retrieve documents on a weekly basis as needed- Compiles, copies, sorts and files records, business transactions, and other activities.Performs other duties as assignedRequirements:Must have prior Administrative experience (preferably in the restaurant industry)Excellent verbal and written communications skills, computer skills with Microsoft office/teams knowledge.Ability to multi-task with attention to detailBilingual may be preferredCome and grow with us!This is an in-person full time positionMonday- FridayIf you are a highly motivated candidate looking to further your career in the hospitality industry, and you have a passion for fine food and beverage, we would love to hear from you.Please send your resume with a cover letter and include your available start date.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 2 years (Required)Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
