Our proven system allows tutors and teachers to positively impact students’ lives while developing leadership and teaching abilities.We’re currently recruiting tutors in Washington state for our remote classes.Competencies – Core Values: PEACEPositive, Energetic & Passionate, Adaptable, Conscious, EmpatheticResponsibilities:Tutor students in math or English. Grade levels range from 1st to 8th gradeAbility to manage a target class size of up to 6 studentsMaintain student progress recordsSkilled & highly proficient in the use of technology as a teaching tool and interactive relationship with students. Is able to efficiently assist students with basic troubleshooting needs, especially with technology. Comfortable to learn new technology in relation to educationRequirements:Reliable internet, webcam, and microphoneAt least Sophomore standing in a college or universityThorough knowledge of lesson contentComfortable with following classroom models and curriculum contentExcellent communicator, especially across age and ability levelsAbility to teach students in caring and confident mannerExperience with elementary and/or middle school-aged childrenSpecial consideration for those who want to be teachersWork Schedule:Shifts are 4 to 5 hours on week days and week endsWeekday shifts from ~4:00 PM to 8:00 PM PDTWeekend shifts from ~9:30 AM to 2:00 PM PDTJob Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:All staff, students, and parents are required to wear masks and we are employing classroom cleaning procedures between classes.Work Location: Multiple Locations
