Position : Part-Time Response Specialist (Work From Home!)
Job Description : The Response Specialist is responsible for providing virtual assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Response Specialist will handle all incoming alarm signal activities and take the appropriate action per protocol. The Response Specialist will also make outbound calls in order to dispatch Police/Fire Departments regarding alarm activities while following standard operating procedures.This role requires heavy computer and phone work as well as taking verbal instructions, typing, reading, speaking and writing.Available Shifts: 5:00am -10:00am2:00pm – 7:00pm6:00pm – 11:00pm7:00pm -12:00amPrincipal Duties: Operate all call center equipment and peripheral equipmentInteract with external and internal customers via telephone, email and in personPromote a positive customer service atmosphereInitiate necessary action when irregular signals are received, or trouble developsNotify appropriate parties and customers if alarm signal is receivedMust be able to adhere to standard operating procedures and special instructionsRespond quickly and precisely to incoming phone callsDocument all alarm activity and phone calls via computer and activity reportsQualifications: Clean Background check and work historyProfessional communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft applicationsAble to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentComfortable handling potential emergency situationsAble to type a minimum of 30 words per minuteSuccessful completion of training modulesJob Type: Part-timePay: $17.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftNight shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Our response to COVID is having our employees work from home rather than in the office.
