Our consulting firm, and our affiliated law firm, are developing a new type of business: lobbying for good. We are now looking to grow our political practice beyond lobbying and move into more campaign/political consulting. We are committed to fostering social justice. Our lobbying and law practices do this by assisting small businesses and nonprofits. We have a dynamic, tight-knit group of professionals who are trying to build something special. What we want to add now is a political/campaign consultant who can supplement/complement what we already do and help bring in campaign business. The ability to develop/bring in business is the paramount skill for this position. The ideal candidate has experience in communications and/or lobbying.That is our vision for the position, but building this position will be a collaborative effort, and we welcome all proposals and ideas. Please understand that this is an entrepreneurial position – you will build it with our help, and it will be what you make of it.Compensation will simply (and transparently) be based on splitting revenue that your position generates. Compensation is based on 60% of originated/serviced revenue; specific compensation could be higher or lower than the specific dollar amount listed in this job listing.
