Position : Production Team Lead – SAC

This full-time, on-site position starts immediately.
Essential Functions
Provides support to Lifelens’ GMP production through the execution of Lifelens’ production processes and the supervision of Lifelens production personnel.
Able to read and follow Standard Operating procedures and Process Specifications. Follows the direction of Manufacturing Management.
Follows and contributes to production scheduling and performs/assists with organizing and scheduling production teams. Able to meet operational deadlines. Effectively communicates issues to management.
Follows machine maintenance schedules; assists maintenance team as needed relating to machine maintenance and operation.
Assists with work-center cell setup.
Performs technical duties in an efficient manner.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of equipment.
Creates SOPs and other technical documentation.
Develops collaborative relationships and interacts collaboratively within the organization to strengthen core competences and achieve Lifelens’ goals.
Evaluates and teaches others in performing manual processes.
Competencies
Experience working in a manual production environment required. Attention to detailed required.
Experience supervising production personnel required.
Experience working with small tools, tweezers, etc. under magnification.
Skilled at working small parts and assemblies.
Experience working with small parts under magnification.
Familiar with cleanroom procedures and working in a cleanroom production environment.
Must have proven organizational skills
Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Proficient in following written instructions and executing tasks in a precise and efficient manner.
Physical Demands
Must have excellent fine motor skills and good dexterity.
Able to sit and/or stand for an extended period while working.
Able to concentrate on detailed work without distraction.
Able to lift 30 lbs.
Education
Associates Degree or equivalent in work experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The position has supervisory responsibilities including time scheduling, training, and the operational overseeing of production personnel.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office/manufacturing environment.
Expected Hours of Work
7:00am/8:00am to 4:00pm/5:00pm
