Job Description : Regional Vice President – Lumping Services, Warehousing/Distribution OperationsWork Remote – $150 to 170K base + Bonus + BenefitsCPG, RETAIL, E-COMMERCE, FOOD, FOOD SERVICE, GROCERY experience an Asset.Due to continued growth our client is looking for a Regional Vice President of Operations to manage multiple sites in a 3rd party relationship.Responsibilities: You will be accountable for providing strategy for aspects of supply chain/logistics operations, ensuring a consistent level of service, quality, and customer satisfaction.You will manage the operational business relationships and have full P&L responsibility for all aspects of the staff and operation of the distribution facilities.Develop and implement Distribution Workforce strategies for U.S. Operations.Develop recommended strategy to implement and monitor improvement programs in cost reduction, revenue growth, quality improvement, safety and best practices across established and new contracts.Review, analyze and present management reports, budgets, expense reports and forecasts for facilitiesProvide strategic oversight and guidance for daily management of facilities.Develop, foster and grow positive and professional relationships with executive level customers and colleagues. Liaise with customers, answer and inquires, initiatives and other issues that may arise.Manage the performance of their clients in a 3rd party relationship through the establishment of processes and procedures with clear expectations using defined metrics.Deliver efficient warehouse and distribution operations that meet or exceed service levels, cost and safety targets across all operations. Be accountable to agreed upon KPIs;Accountable to maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective and prompt communications and follow-up on all pending customer matters.Ability to identify, develop and promote new operational processes.Responsible for the preparation and performance of financial budgets in addition to monthly financial projections and analysis for each respective facility.Manage strategic planning process to ensure service requirements are met.Manage Distribution Center contractual negotiations and service requirements.Lead and support cross-functional project management such as facility start-ups and business specific initiatives.Develop and monitor a key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard including metrics and measurements for all U.S. Operations. Develop, implement and execute best practices for operational metric measurement/achievement.Lead and coach direct reports (Regional managers) in their roles of managing the assigned Distribution centers. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff.Provide strategic direction and process adherence for daily operations including tactical reporting and warehouse management.Job Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Must have 10 years of relevant experience in Warehousing and DistributionRequires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, finance or related field and/or specific experience in lieu of education.Demonstrated health and safety focused approach.Grocery Industry, Food Service or Retail supply chain experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to develop and adopt in market workforce strategies.Must exhibit people focused leadership.Demonstrated ability in Operations Management work and process improvement is essential (Lean Methodology).Must exhibit strong data analysis capabilities.Multi-site management experience with financial acuity and responsibility to performance against financial metrics.Demonstrated ability to drive improvements in operational processes.Able to communicate effectively with others and establish credibility.Set aggressive targets and meets them in a challenging and complex environment.Strong leadership, highly reliable and positive attitude.Ability to motivate, energize and influence others.50% travel.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $160,000.00 – $170,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Warehousing Distribution Management: 10 years (Preferred)Multi-site Management: 7 years (Preferred)CPG, Food, Grocery: 6 years (Preferred)Third Party Logistics (3PL): 7 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
