Job Description : The Family Place Resale Shop is seeking a full time, 40 hours per week Sales Associate for our Resale Shop. Family friendly store hours, 10:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Saturday and 12:00-5:00pm on Sundays. No late evenings! Requirements: High School diploma and at least 1 year of experience working in a retail environment organizing, sorting and assisting customers with merchandise.Knowledge and Skills and Abilities: · Knowledge of organizing and sorting of clothing and household merchandise.· Knowledge of appropriate pricing techniques for merchandise.· Knowledge of inventory techniques.· Ability to be a team player and have a friendly and engaging personality with customers and clients.· Ability to accurately issue receipts, or change due to customers; counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.· Ability to work a flexible schedule.· Ability to run a cash register.· Self-Motivated and able to with little supervision.Mental and Physical Abilities: Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and will be required to lift large amounts of stock.
