Position : Security Operations Specialist

Job Description : Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and eligible for Special Access Required (SAR) required.The Security Operations Specialist will provide Security Support Services that enable secure operations for the sensitive F‑35 program.In this role, a typical day will include:Assess and optimize security processes.Maintain and update security plans.Provide security guidance to CONUS and OCONUS locationsConduct security education and training sessionsAssist F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assetsPerform risk management assessments and analysisCoordinate with geographically separated Government Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officers and international country security managers to facilitate and record SAP security requirementsConduct formal and/or informal inspections at Special Compartmented Information (SCI) FacilitiesQualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree (or) six years of additional experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree (or) Four years of additional experience plus an Associate’s Degree can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.At least three years of relevant experience including:Provide security support services for SAP and SCI effortsMaintain and update security plans such as Security Operations Manuals, Access Management Control Plan, Occupant Emergency Plan, and Continuity of Operations PlanSecurity education and trainingOperational Security (OPSEC)Program Protection planning and executionVisitor controlSecurity inspectionsStrong oral and written communications skills.Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Security clearance:Top Secret (Preferred)Work Location: One location
