Position Summary

Develop timely communication strategies targeted to internal audiences in a complex and changing environment, which support the achievement of business goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Officers, Stakeholders and Business Partners to provide strategic communication around initiatives affecting the M&E organization
Identify any weaknesses in internal communications, source and implement solutions
Review existing communications channels and establish new and effective lines of communication within Technical Operations; Perform basic photography, graphic design and video for internal platforms
Effectively identify key issues and positively promote a high level of audience awareness of a project or program
Coordinate emergency communication plans and notifications. (May require abnormal work hours)
Administer internal communication platforms to include but not limited to internal websites, DigiSigns, blogs, and newsletters, and act as department Webmaster, DigiSign administrator, and content creator and editor in general.
Monitor community relations calendar to ensure that key company initiatives are anticipated and well presented in employee communication platforms
Assist management team to work out briefing structure and content for special projects and issues and ongoing regular communication forums, script, speech and presentation preparation
Seek innovative solutions and advancements to internal communications challenges including working closely with branding stakeholders to ensure all documents are reflecting recent guidelines and corporate compatibility in present state
Organize and coordinate all aspects of key employee forums including but not limited to: Award presentations, briefings, etc.; Monitor and coordinate employee service anniversaries. Coordinate recognition briefings for milestone anniversaries with photos, etc
Other Duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and work experience
2 years working with employee communications, with experience writing and producing various communication channel products
Deadline oriented, strong writing skills, resourceful, possesses good judgment
Basic knowledge of photography, graphic design and videography concepts
Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications
Strong writing skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to work closely with multiple levels of management and employee
Must have received the COVID Vaccine by date of hire

Preferred Qualifications

Previous airline experience
Experience in dealing with busy management teams and having the ability to extract and communicate key messages from them
