And, not to mention a great opportunity.Ideal Agent is hiring a highly creative and motivated Videographer/Editor to join our team. They will drive creativity in a fast-paced environment by developing videos that showcase products, services, client and agent stories and overall brand story. This team member will be responsible for cultivating concepts, storyboarding, shooting footage or creating video animations, and editing the videos into complete stories. This position will develop and implement video and photo strategies, tactics and solutions. This role will work closely with the rest of our Marketing and Media team to create content that will help us grow new audiences. They must love to experiment, be a multi-tasker that can tackle deadlines, and be able to create photos and videos from start to finish. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media, is very detail-oriented, understands and demonstrates high levels of personal productivity and efficiency, and must be resourceful.What you will be doing: Create storyboards to show love of storytelling in new and different waysCommunicate with internal stakeholders to identify and craft client and agent storiesSchedule and perform pre-interviews by phone or video with clients and agentsDevelop and execute interview questions, as well as, direct people to capture specific action or events, to bring out the story you are attempting to conveyIdentify appropriate uses for videos and photos in the overarching communication planCoordinate the shoot location, the talent and any other individuals who need to be present at the video shootCreate photo shot lists and work with photographers to curate images for static assetsCreate video project timelines as well as day-of timelines for shootsVideo and post productionEdit video segments, including color grading and audio editing, to be used in a variety of formats for digital or broadcast productionCreate and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for client/agent stories, internal company videos, external promotional/social videos, recruiting videos, sales enablement videos, and other projectsManage video libraryUnderstand the relationship between design, content, and user experience and therefore adapts content as needed for each medium and audienceGenerate ideas for, and experiment with, new formats and content types (not limited to time lapse, cinemagraph, boomerang, etc.)Maintain and care for all studio equipment, products and suppliesDevelop creative suggestions to assist in promoting specific products or the overall brandCoordinate and implement multiple communication and marketing campaigns through a variety of channels including email, social media, digital, print and web platformsCreate, design, review and deploy communication tactics for a variety of campaignsAssess communications for effectiveness and engagementReview and edit thoroughly all communication pieces at each phase of the creation and deployment processMaintain strong brand identity across all communication and marketing materialsOur Perfect Match: Bachelor’s Degree with field experience, or 2-3+ years comparable professional experienceMust be familiar with a fast-paced, deadline driven, creative environmentUnderstanding of production process from pre-production through post-productionCreative, efficient and strong attention to detailProficiency with common video equipment and editing softwareAble to travel, as needed, and to source, operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipmentStrong organizational and listening skillsA natural storyteller with strong interview and research capabilitiesAble to communicate effectively and proactively with team members and external stakeholdersAdept at managing multiple projects at onceMust have proven experience developing video concepts and stories in a professional settingDemonstrated content creation experience for broadcast TV, OTT, YouTube and social media platforms a plusAbility to work off a creative brief and/or meetings to realize a vision and help further itGood understanding of storytelling – visually and narrativelyAbility to scale the production as neededWe believe in the support of our employees’ total well-being because our team members are the heart, soul, and mind of Ideal Agent.
