DESCRIPTION
Description
The Dougherty County Voter Registration & Elections Department has a vacancy for a Voter Registration Specialist.
Essential Tasks
Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: assisting with office operations; supervising staff; implementing budget and office policy and procedures according to County guidelines; receiving complaints and initiating corrective action; preparing reports and other departmental documents; entering purchase orders and receipting reports into system; performing file maintenance and updating data. Reports to Supervisor of Elections.
Minimum Qualification
Associate’s degree, vocational/technical degree, or any specialized training equivalent to the satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college education with emphasis in public administration or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years relative administrative experience; or any related equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of the position.
