To facilitate this, West Shore Home provides the structure and support to challenge you as you grow professionally, provides fair compensation as you progress in your career, and offers tools to achieve personal satisfaction.Organizational PositionAs a Wellness Coordinator, you will report to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.Key Role AccountabilitiesAs the Wellness Coordinator, you are responsible for developing and creating a wellness program for the Company, tied towards its strategic and wellness goals. You will manage and maintain the program, educate employees on the program, and develop communications to reach all of our employee population. You will regularly evaluate worksite wellness to establish results oriented health management programming. If necessary, you may complete site visits to provide wellness education and support.You will lead and facilitate all wellness initiatives throughout the year, focused on lifestyle, fitness, and nutrition. The Company’s brokers and benefits providers will be available to you to review resources that can be utilized to promote employee wellness, and in developing the Company’s wellness initiatives. Employees may consult you personally for health coaching, both in person and virtually. You are responsible for assisting employees in establishing and meeting healthy goals that lead to lifestyle improvement and positive outcomes through coaching sessions. Through our benefit providers and your own research, you can offer local options for employees to fulfill their personal wellness goals. Occasionally, you will lead health issue training sessions for managers and employees and must stay current on the wellness and health industry to adequately build a knowledge base that can be utilized in employee interactions.What Success Looks LikeTo be successful in this role, you will need to take ownership of all your key role accountabilities and be willing to take a default aggressive approach to supporting the wellness program every day. Your ability to provide resources to employees regarding their health and wellness goals will be critical to your success in the role. You should always seek to improve your skills and get better every day by developing your knowledge around wellness.
