Job Description : Job Summary:The Provider Relationship Specialist will be responsible for engaging in-network providers to build relationships, promote organizational goals, and solution day-to-day business operational issues. This Provider Relationship Specialist will intake issues from key system partners related to ongoing operations such as claims, prior authorizations, and data issues — they will work internally to understand potential issues/solutions and work externally with our provider partners to implement solutions.Activities include:Building/managing positive external relationships and sustaining brand with our ProvidersWorking cross-functionally with stakeholders/systems to understand operational issues and convey solutions to our external ProvidersEscalating systemic issues which may be having broader impactsKeeping clear documentation of activities/issues as they occurRequirements:2+ years of experience in related field – Claims, Appeals, Prior Authorizations, Provider DisputesHealth payer experience is a mustExperience with customer service and/or external interactions are a mustProvider relations experience is preferredHigh School / GED requiredAbout Medix?Medix is dedicated to positively impacting lives every day.
