The Rentals Sales Team provides best-in-class advertising solutions and business consultation for Multi-Family partners. We are a team of high-energy individuals committed to helping Zillow Group users make smarter decisions about buying, renting, owning, and selling homes. Specifically, the Multi-Family Rental sales team works with owners and operators of rental properties throughout the US, helping to connect rental shoppers with the property they will next call home. We provide creative technological solutions, strategic data, and excellent training and development to amplify our clients’ growth as true partners in their business. About the role
The role of the Account Executive is to drive revenue by acquiring new clients and upselling/cross selling current clients. You will introduce, educate, and engage potential top Multi-Family partners with our Zillow Rentals Network.
Responsibilities include:
Primary responsibility is driving top-line revenue through acquiring new Rentals Partners and work closely with the Client Success Managers to identify upselling/cross selling opportunities with current Rentals Partners.
Partner with Business Development Representatives to drive the new business sales cycle including identifying potential clients, resolving prospect’s needs, negotiating and closing.
Participate in multifamily rentals conferences, association meetings tradeshows and property management company meetings to increase partnerships, revenue and exposure to the Zillow Rental Network.
Meet and exceed assigned sales quota
Be an expert in all Zillow Rentals Network products and services
Localize your knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market assigned upon hire
Please note: Candidates being considered for Team Central must reside in a state located in the Central Territory which includes the following states:
Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee
This role has been categorized as a Field position. “Field” employees perform the majority of their work in the field, not at any specific corporate or other office location. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.
In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $55,400.00 – $88,600.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations.
Who you are
1-4 years of inside sales/outside sales
Proven track record of success in a sales role
Possess high energy and a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person.
Ability to prioritize and utilize time management
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for variable incentives and/or equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
