SALARY: $50,000 + Annually DOE
FULL TIME: 40 + hrs. per a weekSHIFTS:
Day Shift available between the hours of 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Available weekends and holidays.We are looking for a positive, professional and extremely detail oriented individual to join our team!Purpose:
The Accounting Director is responsible for the functions of daily operations within the accounting department. Overseeing, coordinating, prioritizing, and maintaining quality controls and government regulatory compliance of all aspects of the accounting department. Leading and managing the team within the department according to BAC values, standards and procedures in order to ensure organizational success, effectiveness and efficiency.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by the Accounting Director. Shown are the duties intended to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities.Demonstrates the ability to lead, communicate and champion The BAC core values, company policies andstandard operating procedures.
Ensure the top four goals are met by leading the team through decision making, guidance, coaching, training,accountable measures, and clear direction especially in regards to performance expectation.
Assigns and ensures completion of all accounting assistants duties.Ensure accurate timely processing of A/R, A/P, payroll and reports.Ensure company compliance with local, state and federal regulations regarding A/R, A/P and Payroll itemsespecially filing tax reports.
Ensure effective team member scheduling in the accounting department.Ensure compliance of BAC’s standard operating procedures, and policies through modeling appropriatebehavior, team evaluations, coaching and disciplinary actions.Qualifications:
Excellent typing/computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office(especially Excel & Word),QuickBooks Pro, and an ability/willingness to learn new programs.
Able to self-engage in continuing education to stay up to date on regulations and compliance requirements forA/R, A/P and Payroll.
Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multitask with a high level of accuracy in preparing andentering information.
Able to prioritize and follow through.Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Able to work remotely if needed.Independently motivated.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. Proficiency in database and accounting computer application systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (especiallyExcel & Word), G-suite, QuickBooks Pro, and an ability/willingness to learn new programs.
Knowledge of state and federal labor laws/ regulations & tax requirements.
