Job Description : PrimePark JFK is seeking to Employ shuttle drivers who will be responsible for safely transporting customers and providing superior service. Drivers must have good communication skills both oral and written to interact with fellow drivers, maintenance, the operations team as well as the public they serve. Commitment, patience, maturity, safety and initiative are required qualities.Essential Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Convey customers to and from JFK terminals to our locations.Maintain decent conversation with customers and assist them with directionsAnswer passengers’ questions in a polite and gentle mannerMaintain constant communication with the dispatcher or managerCarry out regular check on the shuttle vehicle before and after each day’s runCarry out repair of minor faults and report major problems, accidents, or damage to the vehicle to the dispatcher or technicianObey all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his/her assigned area. This may include plying the predetermined routes, not going beyond stipulated boundaries, and collecting the agreed fareDress in a neat and professional manner, and be willing to wear company uniform.Report any unsafe conditionsMust attend required safety meetings and other training sessionsEnsures the property is clean, orderly, well manicured and guest ready at all timesExcellent customer service and communication skills: He/she must be able to sustain meaningful conversation with on-board passengers and must be calm and willing to help passengersPays close attention to detail and strives for excellence during operationExcellent driving skills and habitsKnowledge of attractions and venues in and out of townOrganized, punctual and reliablePerforms other duties as assignedProvides regular and reliable attendanceJob Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentClass C commercial driver license not required but preferredClean Driving HistoryPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Impeccable vision requirements are necessary. One must have clear vision, atleast 20/40 with or without glasses/contacts so you can recognize and abide by traffic signs and signals. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
