Responsible for gathering and entering data into practice management system. Responsible for answering patient’s incoming calls courteously, concerned and knowledgeable, and able to resolve issues in a timely manner.Essential Functions: Follow-up on accounts until zero balance or turned over for collections.Research, analyze, and provide resolution on inquires from providers and patients regarding fees, reimbursements and denials.Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims.Interact with insurance companies to resolve issues delaying the collection of accounts.Submit claims, correct and resubmit failed claims.Prepare clean claims.Record details or inquiries, comments, complaints and actions taken to maintain adequate audit trail.Enter patient demographics, office, and hospital charges.Post and correct payments and adjustments.On a as needed basis, answer patient’s questions and inquiries regarding their account balance.Perform verification of patient’s accounts.Communicate and coordinate with personnel in the billing department.Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may applyOnly full-time employees eligibleWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Florham Park, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Work Location: One location
