Buyer – Full Time – Days
In this role, the Buyer will manage and coordinate all the purchasing of goods and services via active engagement of purchasing transactions within the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) and with our supplier organization. This role will be the key point of contact with the hospital departments concerning their orders. Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders based on electronic and manual requisitions from end user departments, capital improvement groups, PAR and general stores locations.
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Purchasing or equivalent business environment
Strong working knowledge of Lawson or similar integrated ERP procurement systems
