Job Description : The CA. Department of Social Services’ Child Care and Development Division is recruiting for a Child Development Consultant (CDC). The CDC works cooperatively within the CCDD, the Program Quality and Improvement Branch (PQIB), and with other program units and managers throughout the CA. Department of Social Services. The Consultant is responsible for working collaboratively with various early learning and care contracted programs funded by federal and/or state funds. The Consultant serves in an educational leadership role for promoting quality early learning program implementation at the local, regional, and state levels. Functions involving on-site monitoring reviews, training, technical assistance, and support visits require approximately 50% of the time in the field.
