Position : Clinical Supervisor
Job Description : Responsible for the clinical management of all behavioral health treatment programs including program planning/implementation, counselor development/supervision, program evaluation, and outcome measures. PhD in related field, ability to supervise both LPC and LCSW, Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling); Alaska CDC II certification or ability of obtain within one year; LPC, LCSW, or MFT licensure or ability of obtain within six months; two years experience as a clinical supervisor in the mental health or substance abuse treatment field; documented experience in program planning/implementation; one year supervising or directing clinical services.Essential Functions: Clinical Supervision of select clinical staff including the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual training plansCompletes clinical staff annual evaluations per agency policy and proceduresReviews, approves, and signs all clinical assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and discharge summaries to ensure quality clinical documentationEnsures clinical documentation is in compliance with all applicable State and Federal guidelinesProvides the Executive Director with recommendations for clinical staff hiring and terminationsConducts weekly individual clinical supervision sessions with all clinical staffConducts weekly staffing with clinical team leaders/supervisorsSupervision and evaluation of all clinical programming. Create and implement new treatment programming as neededManages clinical staff scheduling to ensure acceptable clinical staff coverage, appropriate clinical case loads, and efficient personnel utilizationConducts clinical assessmentsCoordinates on-call rotation for emergency mental health responseCovers clinical caseloads during clinical staff vacations, illness, and off-site trainingPerforms on-call coverage for emergency mental health services as neededReview and revision of clinical treatment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and accreditation.Review and revision of referral resource lists and maintenance of sufficient contact with resources to ensure a cooperative inter-agency working relationshipDesigns and delivers monthly mental health educational presentations in the communityDesigns and conducts quarterly clinical staff in-service training’sEnsures staff meet agency productivity expectationsAssists the Executive Director in preparation of grant applications, and completion of detailed reports documenting compliance with grant objectivesAssists the Executive Director in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality improvement measuresRole models effective problem solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills to all staff while promoting a positive work ethic within a team oriented environmentAbility to promote and facilitate a team oriented work environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRelocation assistanceVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Addiction MedicineCritical & Intensive CareSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn callWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Vaccine requiredWork Location: One location
