Job Overview::
Under supervisor of the COVID-19 Coordinator, take direction to ensure weekday (M-F) parking lot testing to community. This position will require that the employee be able work outside and be briefly exposed to outside elements. Must be able to walk quickly, potentially on uneven surfaces.
Responsibilities::
Facilitate the collection, processing and transportation of COVID-19 test specimens
Provide tester with a self-swab kit, instruct as needed, and collect the test kit.
Follow departmental policies to correctly identify the patient before any specimen is obtained
Properly label and document the specimens and prepare for shipment
Demonstrate outstanding customer service and compassion when interacting with others
Communicate with, understand, and react effectively to a diverse population.
Follow HIPAA and SEARHC privacy requirement for confidentiality
Qualifications::
Baseline Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Fast paced working environment
Must be able to walk quickly, carry at least 15 pounds, and comfortable working at outside testing locations.
Verifiable track-record of providing excellent customer service
Fast and accurate data entry is required
Communicate clearly and concisely with accuracy, credibility and confidence
Follow all HIPAA and SEARHC privacy requirements for confidentiality
