This includes ensuring quality and safety standards on the construction site are met. This position will be based out of our active jobsite in Hackensack, NJPosition Responsibilities: Prepare Daily Field Reports and take construction project photos and upload to Procore.Prepare agenda for weekly subcontractor meetings.Track and implement a construction schedule that has been prepared by the Project Manager.Prepare a two week look ahead schedule for subcontractor / ownership meetings.Generate RFI’s based on field conditions and requests. present these RFI’s to Project Engineer/ Project Manager.Monitor site safety daily. Conduct weekly toolbox safety talks and ensure documentation compliance.Coordinate construction activities with other site supers.Manage the daily activities of field laborers / punch list laborers.Inspect the work performed by the subcontractors to ensure it meets expectations.Schedule third party testing / inspection agencies and walk town inspectors through the work areas.Document quality control detail in Procore.Manage the delivery and staging of building materials for the site.Coordinate underground utilities with site contractor and utility company representatives.Position Requirements: High School or GED education5+ years of experience working as a Construction Superintendent or related position.Working knowledge of systems such as Procore and Microsoft Project.Must have a Procore supervisors certification.Must have a minimum of 30 hours of OSHA training.Must be proficient with the drawings and the details associated with the project at hand.Must exhibit a professional demeanor.Proactive self-starter and a team-player.Must be available to work weekends.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $140,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:To ensure the health, safety and well being of our staff, we have implemented “Best Practice” procedures with regards to day to day operations and cleaning.Ability to commute/relocate:Hackensack, NJ 07601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Wood – Frame Multi Family Construction: 7 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
