Job Description : Make an Impact
Content and Product Managers are educational technology and curriculum experts. They assemble high-quality digital tools and materials — based on specific product requirements and rigorous solution design. They collaborate with a variety of departments and vendors to help develop the very best conceptualization and implementation for McGraw Hill teachers and students. This position reports to the Director, Actively Learn Content.
How you can make an impact
Develop Actively Learn Social Studies strategy (including prototypes, project proposals, and scope documentation)
Plan and develop a variety of content (including historical overview, document-based questions, and other cutting-edge teaching resources)
Lead a team of full-time staff and contractors to execute against both long- and short-term projects
Act as liaison between stakeholders
Produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and market requirements and that display appropriate content, reading level, grammar, and style
Stay up to date on emerging educational/curriculum trends, educational technology, and emerging technologies within field and adjacent to field
What can you bring to the role?
Expert knowledge of all aspects of content development for purposes of developing, producing, and publishing an online educational product
Ability to create, visualize, and layout content for various delivery formats and classroom settings
Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and writing and presentation proficiency
Displays and acts with initiative, integrity, and professionalism
Demonstrate strong understanding of 3-12 Social Studies pedagogical issues preferred
Classroom teaching experience and/or eLearning preferred
Knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems) authoring preferred
The pay range for this position is between $70,000 – $75,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
