Additionally, we have a JV association with Firmenich, the world’s largest privately held Fragrance and Flavor company.Duties:Comply with Food Safety and Workplace Safety requirements and take required trainings (e.g. Dangerous Goods)Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or web chat regarding complaints, concerns, questions, or other issuesWork with Inventory/Logistics Coordinator and Shipping Specialist to obtain information to help customers understand and/or solve concerns pertaining to product logisticsUnderstand drum labeling requirements, invoicing processes, and shipment documents and be able to explain to customers any delays caused by them or possible errors in the formattingEnsure customer satisfaction and their continued interest in doing business with EssexEfficiently obtain information from and enter information into SAPPurchase Order Entry into SAPVerify stock availability and price, then acknowledge customer purchase ordersRequest PO modifications when needed to adjust quantity, update price or update deliveryOutbound Delivery (OBD) CreationNotify customers of goods readyTrack customer contractsConfidentiality a mustOther duties as assignedQualificationsCustomer Service experienceProficient MS Office; ERP experience, SAP preferredAbility to work independently, as well as being an excellent team playerIntegrity and ethical work habitsAbility to track multiple tasks and assignmentsAbility to define and creatively solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to critically evaluate results, make recommendations and reports on projectsMust be able to work in production and shipping areas that have low to moderate noise level and often present strong odorsAble to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to locate and prepare items for shipping, as well as sitting for prolonged periods of time at computerAbility to lift 50lbsVision ability to include close reading on computer screen, as well as focus across warehouseCommunicate effectively with customers and transporters, both domestic and international, as well as co-workersUnderstand emotional intelligenceRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., steel toed shoes, gloves, masks, etc. as designated)Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to outside weather variationsBenefits:401(k)Medical/Dental/Long term disability InsurancePaid Time OffJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Currently wearing masks is voluntary for vaccinated persons and unvaccinated persons are asked to wear masks.Ability to commute/relocate:Chehalis, WA 98532: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer Support & Client Services Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Required)Work Location: One location
