Romark Logistics provides customers with best-in-class, third party logistics to support all facets of the supply chain.For more than 60 years, Romark has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions of leading warehousing, packaging, and transportation companies in the United States.As a family-owned company with integrity, we understand the importance of long-term relationships with our associates and their families, customers and vendors based upon respect, flexibility, hard work and doing the right thing every day.The tasks and responsibilities required of a Customer Service Representative are outlined below: Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.Speak directly to customers by phone concerning orders, shipments and products.Receive and enter phone and/or faxed orders into the order management systems.Call customers and maintain open lines of communication necessary to process and prioritize orders successfully through warehousing systems.Must be able to respond to irate customers in a positive and professional manner.Must maintain detailed filing and history of all orders.Generate correspondence via email to secure additional customer information to resolve customer complaints.Responsible to follow good housekeeping rules to maintain safe and clean working environment.Ability to work independently while meeting quality and performance standards.Perform other duties as assignedThe skill and qualifications required for a Customer Service Representative are outlined below: High school education or GED preferred.Previous experience in an administrative or customer service related role preferred.Strong computer skills working with inventory/order management systems, Outlook, Microsoft Office products and general office equipment (fax, copier, calculator).An exceptional attention to detail is critical.Basic math skills, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, while exhibiting a pleasant and professional demeanor when dealing with customers, coworkers, carriers and drivers.Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.(Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4 pm)We offer an excellent benefit and compensation package.Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check are required for all qualified applicants.Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.65 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
