Job Description : DATA ANALYST and IT SUPPORTJOB DESCRIPTIONRADIUS seeks a skilled Data Analyst and IT superstar! This position will be key to Radius’s continued success as the #1 toothbrush brand and a top 10 oral care brand in the Natural Products Channel. Our message is clear: Your mouth deserves better, and so does the environment.The Data Analyst will be able to successful track, report, and analyze the data of our internal and external organizations and create meaningful outputs that will help lead our Sale, Operations and Finance team on a consistent basis, maintaining and updating daily, monthly and yearly. The successful candidate will need to have a combination of technical and leadership skills and a background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology and/ or Economics.The IT Support maintains the computer network, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise. Because of the nature of the job, some companies may require their IT Support to undertake shift work.Roles and Responsibilities: DATA ANALYST – 85% OF THE ROLE· Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources· Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems· Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format· Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data· Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems· Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction· Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.· Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry· Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data· Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.· Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.· Perform Exploratory Data Analysis Projects to scrutinize data to recognize and identify patterns and use data modeling techniques to summarize the overall features of data analysis.IT SUPPORT – 15% OF THE ROLE · Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners· Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks· Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests· Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)· Setting up accounts for new users· Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary· Testing new technology· Possibly training junior staffKEY SKILLS: · Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data· Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python· Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.· Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases· Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing· Ability to use data processing platforms· Knowledge of data visualization software like PowerBi, Tableau, Qlik· Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions· Accuracy and attention to detail· Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations· Team-working skills· Verbal and Written communication skills· Proven working experience in data analysis· excellent communication and presentation skills· Ability for critical thinking and having a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving· CreativitySOFTWARE EXPERIENCE NEEDED: · PowerBI (additional platform / software experience a plus)· Microsoft Office Suite· Microsoft Dynamics CRM (additional CRM experience a plus)· Marketing Communications platforms such as Mailchimp· Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (additional Inventory, ERP / MRP, and Accounting software experience a plus)· Resale Platform connectors such as APPSEDetails· Opportunity for on-site or hybrid remote structure for the right candidate.
