Job Description:
Setting and haul back of fishing nets and transferring bags to/from catcher vessels
Maintaining and repairing fishing gear and nets
Operate cranes and other deck machinery
Maintain all fishing gear and deck equipment
Operate skiff
Load equipment and supplies aboard vessel
Keep deck gear and storage areas clean and organized
Maintain all work areas in a safe and seaworthy condition
Assist in factory as needed
Compensation is a Crewshare (which is a percentage of the value of the catch).
. Requirements:
Experience as a deckhand on a trawl vessel
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be available for the full contract period (Approx. up to 90 days)
