Job Description : Development Administration, LeadFull – Time with BenefitsJob Salary Range: $6,250/mo. – $9,063/mo.Starting Salary: $6,250/mo. – $7,656/mo. (DOQ)Soos Creek Water and Sewer District, a public agency located in Renton WA, is accepting applications for the position of Development Administration, Lead. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, leads and assists other development staff to coordinate new developments, handle developer account billing, record developer extension preconstruction conferences and coordinate work orders. Responsible for researching and processing service availability certificates. Oversees geographic information system and asset management system tasks utilized in the Development Department.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Possess strong technical acuity.2. Proficiency with learning, teaching, and leading as the District transitions into anew enterprise workflow management system.3. Proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel, Work, and Outlook.4. Flexibility in accepting work assignments.Ability to: 1. Have excellent public relation skills and successfully resolving difficult situations with customers and stakeholders.2. Have excellent written and verbal skills with emphasis on communicating complex policy issues and technical standards to customers and stakeholders.3. Pivot between multiple assignments and competing priorities seamlessly while evaluating changing project parameters.4. Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.5. Perform research and data analysis, and reports finding and conclusions.6. Manage staff and oversee production which includes the extensive use of spreadsheets, letters, mail merge, and other Microsoft products and Outlook.7. Resolve inquiries and complaints from developers, contractors, customers, external sources and other District departments in accordance with policies and procedures.8. Organize and maintain files and records accurately and efficiently. Ability to retrieve files quickly.9. Prioritize work and demonstrate good organizational skills.10. Work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.11. Work harmoniously with the public and District employees.12. Recognize what needs to be done and the willingness to accomplish such work without direction on each task.13. Quickly comprehend and carry out instructions.14. Communicate with customers and to favorably represent the District to the public.15. Maintain clear, concise and accurate records, and report on items that need attention.16. Read, interpret and comprehend area maps, and know district boundaries.17. Understand legal documents and the requirements for developer agreements, etc.18. Know District specifications, requirements and enforce regulations in an assertive manner.Education and Experience: 1. Associates of Arts Degree with a concentration in business fundamentals. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.2. Five years of general office experience/customer service experience or three years development experience in a utility district or municipality.3.
