Job Description : Utilities One is looking for a Drilling Crew for Spokane WA.Horizontal/Directional Drilling crews are doing horizontal/directional drill rigs, locating equipment, and product support equipment. Perform semi-skilled activities related to HDD locating along with familiarity with industry standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.Responsibilities: Operates Horizontal Directional Drill Locator for installation of underground telecommunications cable conduit, including fiber optic cable;Confirm bore path with install foreman and drill operator (including walking the bore path);Perform job site analysis (JSA) including completion of paperwork;Ensure there are proper clearances to install the product per standards;Ensure the drill head is in a good position at the exit pit to connect the product;Locate utilities with locating systems;Hand dig using a shovel, mechanical tools;Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities;Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in order to help the team complete a project.RequirementsA valid and unrestricted Class A/B CDL;Knowledge and experience with construction and general industry safety standards and procedures;Must have proven experience in heavy construction equipment operations with emphasis on drilling and boring machines operations;Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time;Work up to 5 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required.BenefitsEquipment provided;Competitive Salary;Paid weekly – each Friday;Long-term employment;Job Type: Full-timePay: $130,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
