Job Description : About UsWe are a family office that supports multiple generations of a family living in Texas, New York, New Mexico, Montana, and Arizona. Our office was formed in the 1980s to support the part-time personal investment needs of an executive who was, at the time, running a major Dallas-based technology company. The staff has varied over the years from just a few people to around 40 at one point. We currently have approximately 15 people on the team and in addition to investment management, we provide a full suite of financial and personal services.To learn more, please review our website < https://2m.com>.This is a Dallas based role focused on managing the operation and upkeep of the various family residences and related staff, personal assistants, and contractors. In addition, this role will also serve as the senior personal assistant to the family patriarch.ResponsibilitiesFirst and foremost, you would be responsible for managing all aspects of the family residences located in Dallas and Austin TX, New York City, Santa Fe NM, and Bozeman MT. There are no residences outside the U.S. although that may change in the next few years. Some of the matters you would be expected to handle include:hiring, scheduling, and supervising cleaning and maintenance personnel and contractors;creating and maintaining residence operation manuals, vendor lists, maintenance schedules, and related checklists;maintaining residence art and furnishing databases;managing delivery, installation, and storage of art and furnishings;assisting with construction and renovation projects;providing oversight for events and occasions occurring in the residences;managing guest usage of the residences;maintaining a shared calendar for the residences;developing an operations budget for each residence;managing vendor payments and expense tracking;ensuring the residences are prepared for use and stocked with basic supplies as needed; andensuring the residences are secured when vacant.In addition, you would serve as the supplementary and senior personal assistant to the family patriarch who is 83 years old (and in wonderful health) and lives between Dallas TX and Bozeman MT. While much of his needs are handled by his day-to-day assistant and other office staff, some of the matters you would be expected to assist with include:coordinating significant travel arrangements and developing related agendas;assisting with his wardrobe for significant events (which are rare);ensuring his personal medical records and health history are organized and maintained; andassisting with other matters that otherwise cannot be handled by other staff.About youYou should have an “in service” attitude and be ready to take on whatever comes your way.
