Role Overview

Boom’s Executive Assistant team is growing and we are looking for our next team members. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, a close working relationship with colleagues and leaders then this is the right place for you.

You should have exceptional communication skills, a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and have a no-task-too-small approach to our work. An ideal team member will be able to work well independently but also be flexible enough to be directed at times.

Responsibilities:

Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Executive and/or other assigned leadership staff.
Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, expense reports, and other documents for senior staff.
Arranges travel and accommodations for executives.
Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents and determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
Assist in event setup for smaller department events and larger company-wide events.
Be an active member of the Boom support team helping with coordination, communication, and knowledge sharing.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

What experience does this person need to be successful

2+ years of experience supporting executives including but not limited to travel arrangements and calendar management
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
Strong interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
Passionate, engaged, energetic, entrepreneurial spirit
A desire to collaborate – You understand that work is easier (and more fun) with teamwork.
Tech Savvy, strong proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft applications.
Ability to take on a wide variety of challenges and provide creative solutions
Ability to work independently and efficiently with ambiguity
Thrives in a fast-paced environment to support executives and leadership team
Proficient in collaborating across company departments

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Prior office management experience
Experience supporting executives within finance, engineering, legal, commercial, people teams

Compensation:

The Base Salary Range for this position is $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 and represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives/equity, an open PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.

To conform to U.S. Government aerospace technology export regulations (ITAR and EAR), applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
