Position : Executive Driver
Job Description : CEPTON is seeking an Executive Driver to safely transport executives and or guests daily from one location to another. The majority of the driving will be centered in and around Silicon Valley, with occasional trips to other Bay Area locations. Most weekdays will start as early as 7 am and require some overtime. There will also be an occasional preplanned weekend shift. This is not to be considered a security detail or personal assistant position. This employee will have a high level of professionalism and become a trusted member of the team.Responsibilities: The employee must maintain operational readiness for the company vehicle.Fueling vehiclesVehicle Cleanliness, inside and outKeeping accurate maintenance records and planningKeep detailed records of travel, supplies, and maintenance workThe employee will have a high level of experience and knowledge using cell phone map apps, and vehicle GPS mapping programs.The employee will investigate and have prior knowledge of all possible delays for the planned or best route.The employee must not be distracted by a personal cell phone or any other electronic device.When at HQ, and no travels are scheduled, employee will report to the operations department and help as needed.Requirements: Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)Must follow all traffic laws at all times.The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and provide a driving record for the past 5 years.The candidate must pass a 12-panel drug test.The ideal candidate will be calm and collected in stressful driving situations.Driver must maintain a professional appearance.
