Job Description : Company/Position Overview: Craft Distillery based in Pennsylvania (Lehigh Valley), is seeking an experienced field sales manager. Individual will be responsible for growing our brand initially within the state of Florida. This will include product sales and merchandising through direct contact with liquor stores, bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for promotional activities including product tastings and events throughout the state.*Primary Responsibilities:The Sales Representative is responsible for Xplorer Spirits product sales and merchandising, customer service, and account development, along with other sales and service functions to promote consumer demand in bars, restaurants, and liquor stores. If you are excited about the growth of the craft spirits industry, we are looking to grow with you.**Duties include but are not limited to the following:Make regular sales calls to designated accounts to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with service provided.Account development: Analyzes entire account base by visiting each account and determining the specific needs of the individual accounts.Create and implement promotional activities including potentially participating in evening, night, weekends and holiday promotions and company events.Demonstrate consultative sales abilities through successful presentations of product, the promotion of new and existing portfolio items and the expansion of the businessResearch, organize and present sales reports/​quota attainment results as required by District Manager in team or division meeting environmentAssist customers with inventory management responsibilities (product availability/​new product placement and rotation of stock)Budgeting and generation of sales forecastMaintain accurate database of accounts and corresponding contactsEstablish and meet weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectivesManage merchandising activitiesAchieve volume objectives for the market brand state priorities and monitor Key Performance Indicator results through the use of KPI tracking and COGNOS.Monitor and ensure that Brand State Priority volume objectives are achieved in the market.Develop and implement agreed upon Key Performance Indicators with key distributors to ensure focus on Brand State Priorities for the market.Identify, develop and propose strategic price increase opportunities throughout the year that are consistent with brand positioning strategies in the market.Build brands, develop relationships, sell distribution, and coordinate programs with multi-state customers (chains and military) on and off premise.Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by recognizing existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.Obtains appropriate distribution and volume goals of brands throughout the account base by presenting and selling based on the brands features and benefits.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Required Qualifications:4+ years relevant sales experience in spirits/liquor and/or wine industry and comprehensive understanding of spirits.Bachelor Degree in Business a plus (or equivalent experience).Meaningful established relationships with customers and strong customer listAbility to work independently with extraordinary organizational and negotiation skills.Highly motivated and enthusiastic about the alcoholic beverage industryAbility and willingness to work nontraditional hours (nights/weekends/holidays)Proficient in Microsoft office productsWillingness to travel with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and access to reliable transportationMust be at least 21 years of ageEffective written and verbal communication skills; neat and professional appearance.Present self with integrity professionalism and commitment to Kilimanjaro Distillery sales representative responsibilities and policiesExhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.Calls on accounts and covers daily routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern.Communicates with management as to needs of specific accounts by maintaining organized territory and account records.Proficient at calculating commissions, percentages, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis – Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate discounts.Ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.Lift and carry a 50+​ pound case of product on a repetitive basis.​Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.What we offer to the right candidate:A base salary and performance based commission.A bonus on achieving monthly/quarterly and annual sales revenue.If you are a stellar performer, we are willing to offer profit sharing to the right candidate.Do you have what it takes to deliver?To apply, please email your resume and cover letter to info kilimanjarodistillery com.Please state your current salary and expected salary.Recent College Graduates welcome to apply, experienced industry sales reps may achieve higher first year earnings.
