Job Description : The Front Desk Ambassador is our patients’ first and last impression of our practice. They are a key member of our team that engages with our patients on a day-to-day basis and is knowledgeable in each area of the practice. They work efficiently to ensure patient needs are met at the time of their visit and can communicate effectively. This member has a strong desire to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience and can anticipate their needs.Front desk or insurance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right cultural match.Responsibilities and Duties· Strong understanding of vision and medical insurance policies.· Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.· Explain payments and review different types of visits.· Efficiently check-in and check-out patients.· Navigate electronic health records.· Manage doctors’ schedules and patient flow throughout the practice.· Promote Nilsen Eye Care services and products.· Follow all office protocols and provide feedback for improvement.· Enthusiastically smile through the phone and mask.”Work RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: $12.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:We continue to require masks for both staff and patients and also screen patients prior to entry.
