Job Description : Global Harvest Foods is a national manufacturer in the bird feeding industry with a rich 35-year history of delighting many “A” list retailers with our branded and private label product lines. Our manufacturing & distribution facilities are located strategically throughout the United States in order to provide our retail partners with the highest quality products and optimized service levels.We have an outstanding opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our team to help inspire bird feeders across America and raise awareness of the activity. The designer would create brand and promotional graphics for store displays, advertising, trade shows, social media, newsletters, websites and other materials as neededDuties and Responsibilities include the following. Other aspects may be assigned.Collaborate with Vice President of Product Development and Marketing and rest of the marketing team to develop materials that achieve business objectives.Assist with design of sales support materials such as POGs, sell sheets, sales decks, trade shows signage, collateral, mockups, swag/wearables, POP/store displays, etc., and other materials as requested.Concept brand and promotional campaigns for traditional and digital advertising with supporting collateral.Assist with packaging design development and versioning.Create digital mockups of products and displays.Develop new and existing brand identities, maintain brand standards.Design and production of web pages, online marketing, e-commerce product content, social media creative/content and other digital materials as needed.Proof all materials prior to publication for accuracy, clarity and brand impact (creative research as needed).Photography and photo retouching as needed.Keep current with design trends, technologies and standards.Participate in and contribute to marketing strategy and planning sessions.Coordinate with photographers, printers, artists, freelancers, contractors, and other creative partners to ensure that creative meets brand standards.Maintain Digital Asset libraryOther tasks as assignedQualifications: 2-year Graphic design degree.Graphic design experience required.Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and SquareSpace; Basic HTML and CSS web design.Photography and web design skills a plus.Ability to work effectively and positively within tight deadlines as part of a team and independently – with a high degree of self-direction and independence.Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines in an environment with quickly shifting priorities.Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and individualsThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated and team oriented.Global Harvest Foods provides an excellent compensation and benefits package.For immediate consideration, please send your resume and cover letter.Equal Opportunity Employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Global Harvest Foods is following CDC guidelines.Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
