Job Description : The Health & Fitness Center attendant will be the first person individuals meet as they enter the facility. All duties must be completed with professionalism and a high degree of friendly customer service. Promotes H&FC programs, performs custodial duties, and processes registrations and payments.
Duties:
At the Prince William Sound College, the Health & Fitness Center attendant will be the first person individuals meet as they enter the facility. All duties must be completed with professionalism and a high degree of friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Process registrations and payments at the front desk.
Follow specific schedules and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting exercise equipment, bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, and all surfaces.
Attend department training and meetings.
Support the marketing efforts for H&FC programs.
Check-out and check-in rental equipment according to established procedures. Wax skis and sanitize boots.
Encourage participants to follow posted rules and etiquette guidelines.
Complete electronic and paper forms, documentation, and reports.

To be considered applicants must have strong customer service skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow cash handling procedures. Ability to follow specific schedules and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting exercise equipment, bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, and surfaces. Ability to work independently with a minimum of direct supervision.

HS graduation or the equivalent.

College experience preferred. Education and training in health, exercise science, or a related field is preferred.
