Job Description : Competitive swimmers and triathletes, Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald passed their grueling workouts by engaging in passionate conversations about starting their own company and baking, which ultimately inspired them to leave their respective careers in fashion and finance. They opened a small bread shop in 1995, which they named Levain Bakery. One day, they created an ultimate chocolate chip walnut cookie to give them energy while training for a triathlon. They decided to sell a batch in their bakery, and they flew off the shelves. An icon was born. The cozy shop on West 74th Street quickly became a neighborhood favorite and a destination for epicurious travelers from around the world, hungry for the world-famous six-ounce cookies. From the start they baked everything fresh on-site each day and donated the day’s leftovers to charity each night, actions that remain solidly in place almost 25 years later. THE ROLE: IT Support- RetailThe Retail support professional collaborates with the IT Manager to provide support to our expanding retail footprint. In addition, the support professional will liaise with our managed service provider to provide 2nd level in-person technical support where necessary. The ideal candidate has technical chops and is also great at listening and providing solutions. What you’ll do: Work with our operations team to provide technical support at our retail locations.Liaise with our vendors and managed service provider to diagnose and resolve technical issues.Create technical how-to material.Ensure technical best practices, policies and procedures are followed.Travel to retail locations (75%) and provide technical support. You should be open to travel to future locations.Provide occasional weekend retail technical support.Work efficiently and accurately while ensuring all technical issues are addressed in a timely fashion.Diagnose and resolve problems with point of sale, PC/Mac, Printers.Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, cloud hosted applications.What we’re looking for: Prior customer service, retail, or ecommerce/merchandise technology support experience required.
