The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist assists in defining and executing best practices to address staffing needs and effectively identify viable diverse candidates. To ensure positions are filled within a specific timeframe, the Talent Acquisition Support Specialist performs general recruiting responsibilities including creating questionnaires, posting positions in the ATS, and advertising positions on external job boards/associations/colleges or universities. The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist performs a variety of complex technical, clerical, and administrative tasks to support all aspects of talent acquisition. This position builds internal and external relationships to aid in superior customer service and to support in growing FLVS’ reputation and brand awareness as a premier employer within the job-seeker community.Essential Position Functions: Creates pre-screen questionnaires based on position requirements.Posts positions in ATS and to external job boards/associations to attract diverse candidates.Collaborates with the HR Marketing Specialist on organic social media posts and e-flyers.Partners with Senior Certification Specialist to source passive certified candidates in-state and out-of-state.Passively recruits by use of diverse social media, job boards, associations, college/university connections, and personnel contacts to ensure growth in number of qualified applicants.Ensures positions are filled within specified timeframe to meet staffing needs.Actively collaborates with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Talent Acquisition Manager to determine and recruit for future staffing needs ensuring a diverse candidate pipeline.Develops and executes recruitment plans to expedite staffing needs for hard-to-fill positions.Monitors application flow within each assigned position to ensure qualified applications are being received.Reviews applications to identify qualified candidates and clears candidates based on Veteran Status, Background Questionnaire, Interns, Internal, Department of Education Certifications, Department of Education Disciplinary Actions, and Referrals.Provides resumes of qualified candidates to Hiring Managers for review.Notates ATS and dispositions candidates who are not recommended by Hiring Managers.Conducts pre-screen questionnaire and schedules recommended candidates for virtual interview with Talent Acquisition Specialist.Coordinates interview scheduling availability with Hiring Manager via Outlook.Contacts recommended candidates to schedule Interview with Hiring Manager.Maintains contact with candidates throughout recruiting process.Ensures that interview panel guides are completed accurately and follows up with panel members as needed.Uploads completed interview panel guides and notates ATS according to Hiring Manager’s feedback.Completes Employment and Degree Verifications for selected candidates and uploads completed form to ATS.Escalates concerns or issues with service, documentation, process, or systems to appropriate parties.Engages in activities to increase FLVS employment brand awareness in the community and develop a pipeline of viable candidates, including visibility in community, career-related events, and professional associations.Holds all work-related information in the strictest confidence.Works proactively with Human Resources Team to address internal/external customer needs and escalates staffing issues and concerns, as needed.Responsible for tracking, measuring and achieving defined department metrics specific to recruiting and department customer service.Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others.All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established(These essential functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed.
