Making doughnuts requires preparing ingredients, following the right production schedule, weighing ingredients, tracking how the equipment is doing (from the proofer to the fryer and beyond), keeping an eye on how the doughnuts are looking as they come off the line, and helping to pack them up when needed. You’ll also master your craft as you minimize waste, document the production specs and readings, and restock as you go. You’ll get to know the equipment well and be able to troubleshoot it or even repair it when needed. You’ll also keep things clean and up to the highest food safety standards. As our Doughnut Maker, you’re looked to as a leader on the team, modeling the best communications skills, teamwork, and respect for others.
