Job Description : Position Summary:
KBI is seeking a laboratory operations technician for the analytical formulations and sciences department. An ideal applicant should have strong communication skills, attention to details, curriculum history in the sciences, eagerness to collaborate and a passion for helping patients through medicines
Position Responsibilities:
Daily laboratory audit readiness walkthrough, cleanliness, housekeeping (Glassware, supplies etc…) with cGMP/cGDP Documentation
Laboratory reagent shelf-life identification, labeling and disposal
Hazardous waste collection and disposal per OSHA and HSE
Laboratory Chemical identification, organization, and storage
Documentation review for simple instruments and peer shadowing
Instrument classification, documentation reconciliation and labeling
Daily Laboratory Audit Inspection Walkthrough and Documentation
Operations collaboration with management
Assist in the migration and rollout of a new, bespoke inventory system
Position Requirements:
High school degree or Enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program
Science based bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience in a lab environment preferred
Motivated, customer focused, and a high level of attention to detail.
Familiarity or previous work in a cGMP environment desired
Salary:
$22-26/hr
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
