Job Description : Vacancy Announcement Lead Customer Service AgentDate of Posting: March 15th, 2022Alaska Air Transit is hiring a Full Time Lead Customer Service Agent for our Merrill Field, Anchorage, location.We are looking for a hard working team-player to be a key member of our organization. This position serves as the public face of our company; if you are welcoming, patient, self-motivated, and detail- oriented, we would like to hear from you. Experience with computers, including word processing and email, is essential for this role.What you’ll do: Serve as the main point of contact with our customers.Greet and assist customers, and respond to a variety of customer questions and requests.Learn and Use our reservation system to schedule passengers and process payments.Manage the passenger check-in process, including preparation of baggage and freight for travel.Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance, perform light custodial and housekeeping tasks.Report to Station Manager regarding Customer Service Team and Customer Service issues.Monitor performance of other Customer Service StaffWhat you can expect: To be immersed in the culture of Alaskan aviation and work with highly experienced pilots, a stellar team of flight operations, maintenance, and ramp staff, many of whom are aspiring pilots.To learn more about rural Alaska and its communities, as well as the many companies that conduct business in remote locations.To get to know many of our customers and clients on a personal basis.A work tempo that can range from slow to fast-paced!To listen to customer concerns, and work to problem solve any issues.Who we are: Alaska Air Transit is a community-oriented small business with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
