Position : Licensing Specialist (Remote/Work-From-Home Eligible)
Job Description : Higginbotham Insurance Agency, Inc, one of Texas’s largest privately owned insurance brokerages, has an immediate opening for a Licensing Specialist for our Fort Worth office.

The Licensing Specialist assists the Licensing & Compliance Specialist with programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that the Agency and employees are in compliance with federal, state, and local licensing, and related regulatory requirements. The Licensing Specialist will also assist in monitoring continuing education requirements.
Some of the essential tasks include:
Apply for, monitor, and review corporate and employee license status as directed by the Licensing & Compliance Specialist
Assist the company’s newly hired employees with their pre-licensing setup, including scheduling licensing exams and fingerprinting appointments
Process and audit affiliations and appointments; produce reports
Maintain the licensing and compliance database
Communicate licensing, compliance issues, and educational opportunities to the company staff
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and employees

Experience:
Legal background is desired
Previous experience in insurance licensing and/or regulation is a plus!

High School Diploma or Equivalent
