Role & Responsibilities:
Take complete delivery responsibility of assigned projects and delivery of the same.
Involved in the entire project management cycle as per defined process starting from pre-sales phase and estimation, scope/ change management and delivery.
Preparation of proposals and responding to proposal requests.
Responsible for resource allocation, billability and utilization for all reporting resources to meet customer project requirements as well as organization requirements.
Be responsible for technical and functional solution designing.
Ensure quality, schedule and other goals on deliverables.
Should have and acquire functional awareness of domains and applications.
Provide status reporting to customers and internal management.
Proactively identify risks and help mitigate.
Build relationship with customer contact points through excellent customer experience.
Team building and hiring.
Contribute to organization-wide process improvements and validations.
Provide proactive value adds internally as well as to the customer.
Competencies & Skills:
Should have hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, CSP, Easytrieve (optional), MQ Series and DB2 experience.
Strong analytical, good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience in identifying and delivering technical solutions to customer business problems.
Excellent English both verbal and written communication skills and capable of independently communicating with customers.
Should be flexible to work in shifts (24/7) including night shifts.
Has development as well as production support experience including incident management. Additional skills preferred but optional
Though primary skill set is on mainframe and IBM technologies, should be open to other newer technologies and integration solutions.
Knowledge of core Java/J2EE
PMP certified
Automotive industry experience
