Job Description : RemX Specialty Staffing is looking for a Medical Records Specialist for our client in the Anchorage, Alaska area. In this role you will be responsible for processing medical record request by following HIPAA guidelines.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST

Pay: $16/hr

YES; Site requires a COVID vaccination. The site will not recognize any exceptions. Background 7-Year Search (Standard), Standard Drug Screen-Urinalysis (10 Panel Non DOT), Flu Vaccination (Seasonal), Accurate (CBES)-Admin Use Only, TB Blood Test (T-Spot), Titer – Hepatitis B Titer (Surface Antibody) (Standard)

This is going to be ONISTE in a medical facility

Responsibilities:

Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
Ensures medical records are assembled in standard order and are accurate and complete.
Creates digital images of paperwork to be stored in the electronic medical record.

Requirements:

1 year of EMR and ROI experience
HIPAA knowledge
Proficient with computers
HS Diploma or GED
