Job Description : Hi from Pixel Park! We’re a Columbus based design and animation studio searching for a Production Coordinator. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a talented creative team. A Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting Producers, and aiding in day-to-day project duties and administrative tasks with assigned clients. They also manage internal initiatives to support the studio.Position Reports to: Producer(s) and Director of ProductionEmployee Classification: Non-exemptPrimary ResponsibilitiesEffectively keeps project management systems and production resources up to date:Monday.com – including opening/closing project boards, posting client assets/notes, linking timelines from scheduling board to project boards, and updating tasks statuses.Voiceover casting – confirming script as final, posting castings, booking talent, creating shortlists when asked, communicating with talent, posting recordings on server and on monday.comClockify – reminding creatives to track project hours, helping to pull project hours for producers when askedSlack – opening/closing channels, updating project descriptions, linking Monday.com boards and project notes, making sure files posted in channel are organized on server and/or Monday.comDevelop, shift and type up production timelines for Producers when askedWorks with Producer to monitor and quality check all incoming/outgoing project deliverablesAttend Client meetings and take notes in creative briefs and be able to provide summaries if askedEstablish a keen understanding of Pixel Park’s current client portfolio and associated workFind availability and book freelance artists/crews, be a point of contact where appropriate and follow up about invoice collectionAssist Producer to assemble call sheet/shoot schedule, arrange craft services and coordinate shoot logistics as assigned, production assist on shoots when askedAssist producer in proactively organizing project details and assetsWhen applicable, helps to supervise the duties of the Production Intern. They play a key role in their development and day-to-day scheduleWhen applicable, manages assigned projects with supervision of a Producer / Director of ProductionMust communicate in a clear concise manner, providing supportive materials and documentation when necessaryCan think clearly and maintain composure in a high-pressure environmentAssist with other departments as requestedAssumes other duties as assignedQualifications: Excellent communication and written skillsHighly organized and detail orientedExcellent time management skillsExpert knowledge of the Google WorkspaceHighly motivated attitudeConducts themselves in a professional mannerTakes personal ownership of projectsConstantly self educating and adaptableUnderstanding of production pipelines and how they relate to a full-service creative studioMust have strong strategic thinking skills and ability to problem solveBe people-oriented (team, end client, freelancers, etc.)1-2 years of experience in the creative industry, preferredWorking Conditions Working conditions are normal for an office environment with flexibility in schedule. Work may require some weekend and evening work.Physical RequirementsThis position may include physical demands such as the ability to intensely focus and handle stressful situations.
