This individual is responsible for scheduling appointments, obtaining patient information, and verifying medical insurance information. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s)Answer calls, as well as welcoming and assisting patients and visitors.Schedule and confirm appointments, tests, treatments, and other procedures.Obtain and update patients’ personal and health information.Create and maintain electronic health records.Prepare patients’ files for consultation and evaluation.Manage inquiries and relay messages about scheduling, referrals, and prescription refills.Verify medical insurance information, as well as mediate between patients and medical insurers.Collect co-payments from patients and following up on medical insurance claims.Enter payment information into an electronic billing system.Maintain an office supply inventory and replenish stock in a timely manner.Maintain a knowledge of basic medical terminology and inventory management.Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills.No Experience is Necessary if you meet the following criteriaWe are looking for friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy serving customers.
